Terms and conditions

These terms cover the website, guides, tools, initial service enquiries and voluntary support payments. Client projects are covered by separate contracts.

1. Service provider

The website and services are provided by OEJ OÜ, registry code 17394015, VAT ID EE102940327, address Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Toompuiestee 21, 10137, Estonia. Contact: info@oej.ee.

2. Purpose of the website

The website presents OEJ OÜ's web applications, data tools, integrations, automation and AI assistants, alongside practical guides, project stories and downloadable tools. Information on the website is not a binding offer.

3. Enquiries and project contracts

Sending an enquiry does not place an order. OEJ OÜ enters into a separate contract with you for each client project, setting out the terms for that project.

4. Your data under your control

Before connecting a client solution, I agree with you on where data is stored and processed, which services are used, the access permissions and what is logged. Where the agreement requires EU-only processing, the whole service chain must meet that requirement. A connection that conflicts with it will not be enabled.

This agreement does not mean that every provider used for the oej.ee website, email or payments processes data exclusively within the EU. These services are described in the privacy policy.

5. Guides, browser demo and downloadable software

The guides help explain and use tools, but do not replace assessment of a particular situation. Downloadable software is governed by the licence included in its package. OEJ PII Guard source code is released under the MIT licence; use and redistribution must preserve the notices required by that licence.

PII Guard does not guarantee removal of every personal identifier, and its output needs human review. The browser demo and downloadable tool are different implementations; their capabilities and test results are not interchangeable. Follow the instructions and limitations on the tool page and in the software documentation.

6. Voluntary support payments

Support payments on the website are voluntary one-off payments. A support payment does not place a service order or create an entitlement to specific development work or a particular outcome. Payment takes place on Stripe's hosted page. Stripe issues payment receipts.

Send payment questions, refund requests and complaints to info@oej.ee. Submitting a request does not mean a refund is automatic. This contact option does not limit your statutory rights or other dispute-resolution options.

7. Intellectual property

Website text, design and other content belong to OEJ OÜ unless stated otherwise. Software released under a separate licence is governed by that licence. Ownership and usage rights for work created for a client are defined in the relevant agreement or offer.

8. Liability

The website is maintained with reasonable care, but OEJ OÜ does not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. Liability, warranties and limitations for services are set out in a separate agreement. No term excludes or limits liability or rights where doing so is prohibited by law.

9. Governing law and disputes

Estonian law applies, subject to applicable mandatory legal rules. I will first seek to resolve disputes through discussion. If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under the applicable law. These terms do not restrict statutory rights that cannot be excluded by agreement.
